A company specializing in live performances, amplified music, and street art with a DIY, musical aesthetic. An officially recognized youth and community education association.
We repurpose, deform and assemble objects, waste, which gradually become instruments, generators of everyday melody, elements of the decor.
Historical
We founded the VIRUS association in 1993, with a strong passion for amplified music from the outset. We wanted to bring this music into public spaces, particularly the streets. We began by programming concerts, then expanded to include arts education workshops, and the production and distribution of street performances and educational shows .
About Us
Our universe
Our world is cobbled together, patched up , and we place great emphasis on recycling and repurposing waste . We repurpose, deform, and reassemble objects, which gradually become instruments, generators of everyday melodies, and elements of the set. Accompanied by humorous, parodic, and offbeat commentary, this ingenious blend defines the company's identity: amplified street music, a DIY musical experience on wheels.
